Imagi-Play 

Preparation: unrestricted clothes and footwear to be able to move easily along with an open mind.

Format Idea: using drama techniques and improvisation exercises, (without calling them that in order to ease pressure to perform) in a non-judgemental atmosphere. Each workshop is individually designed for the group, number and any specific goals to be met.

Overall Goals: a new perspective on the work at hand, the workplace and co-workers

Outcomes: openness to new ideas, new connections to colleagues, more confidence in articulating ideas and communicating with co-workers, building a relaxed work atmosphere for better production outcomes.

Kevin Kennison

Kevin Kennison is an Independent Casting Director, Freelance Director, Master Acting Teacher and Coach, and Career Consultant. 

Kevin has an extensive background in performing, directing, producing and teaching. Based in New York and Los Angeles, he has cast for Broadway, National and International Tours, ABC/Disney, Reality Television, The Learning Channel, TRU-TV, Feature and Independent Films, Theatre and Film Festivals, numerous backer’s auditions of new plays and musicals, industrials, readings and new multi-media projects. 

Kevin has been a faculty member of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, The University of Oregon, Brooklyn College, SUNY Oswego, and many New York professional acting studios including the Atlantic Theatre Company, CAP 21 Musical Theatre program, The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, and works with many High School and College Theatre programs across the country as a guest artist, program curriculum and workshop designer, master teacher, guest director and showcase producer.  

Former students include Tony Award winners and nominees, Emmy Award nominees, Theatre World Award winners, and Obie Award winners, among other honors.  Kevin holds an MFA from CUNY Brooklyn College and is ABD PhD from NYU. AEA, SAG-AFTRA.
