Tipping the Scale

Are you prone to symmetrically or asymetrically balanced designs? In this workshop look at images and how they are balanced. Choose a template and using design patterns and textures, create a beautifully balanced design in black and white and then add color. Or…draw your design freehand to create a design without a template.


The workshop fosters creative problem solving, mindfulness, and relaxation.

Victoria Englehart

Victoria Englehart holds a master’s degree in Holistic Education and Art Ed, is an Art Therapy Practitioner as well as a National Board-certified art teacher K-12 and a recent retiree of 30 years with Broward County Schools in Florida.  

She has illustrated 9 children’s books, the most recent being, “Whose Shoes?” Which she illustrated and wroteShe has received numerous grants and awards such as Project Help Teacher of the Year, Metro PCS Teacher of the Year and most recently was one of three finalists for Broward County Arts Teacher of the year, she was named delegate for the International Women’s Leadership Association, and taught Tennessee Art Teachers at Tennessee Art Academy sponsored by Belmont College in Nashville, Tennessee.  She currently resides in Pompano Beach, Florida, where she continues to assist students in creating their own paths through Art Education.  She is passionate about Art and continues to guide others in their own personal process of empowerment.
